When the creator of a virtual reality dies, gamers all over the world try to hunt for three keys he left behind. Whoever gets them, wins everything.

This is a total blast! Everything about it is phenomenal. The cast, beautiful visuals, action, and most of all video game/ movie nostalgia. Steven Spielberg put his heart and soul in here while telling us that it’s ok to be a nerd. The virtual reality game the Oasis is jaw dropping. It definitely feels like the future of gaming. It’s like putting Facebook and a gaming system into one. The players have the freedom to do anything or go anywhere while being with their friends. The outside world is not as fun as the Oasis, so that’s what makes the idea work so well. There’s a ton of pop culture references and also famous characters from video games and movies that put smile on my face.  There’s also a famous horror movie that a game level is centered around. I really couldn’t find anything wrong with the film at all. In time, I believe this will be a masterpiece that everyone will see and talk about for years. It’s like The Avatar for 2018! Go watch it in theaters and be amazed then wait to get it on Blu-Ray. One of Spielberg’s best. 9.5.
